These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are between you and Modd, the trading name used for the service at moddcv.com (“Modd”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Modd web application (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. Our service address is Modd, Dene Mansions, London NW6 1QU, United Kingdom. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Modd is an AI-assisted tool that analyses a CV against a job description and produces a revised document, score and report. Output is generated by large language models and may contain errors. You are solely responsible for reviewing all output before sending it to any employer.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret.
- You may not share your account with anyone else.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the CVs, job descriptions and other content you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to process Your Content only as required to provide the Service and to improve safety and reliability.
4. Access and payments
Each account receives one complete report for free. After that, an active pass is required before any further optimisation starts and for full access to reports created while paid. Base subscription prices are £4.99 per week or £14.99 per month. They renew automatically until cancelled. Without an active pass, Modd may show limited locked preview content; this does not provide the full paid report or export. Dodo Payments hosts and processes checkout and identifies itself there and on your receipt. A real charge is submitted only after you explicitly confirm checkout, where the final total, renewal schedule and cancellation terms are displayed. Pricing may change with reasonable notice. 5. Acceptable use
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to upload.
- Do not use Modd to fabricate or misrepresent qualifications, employment history, achievements, responsibilities, skills or experience.
- Modd does not apply for jobs, impersonate you or communicate with employers on your behalf. You must review and submit any application yourself.
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service.
- Do not use the Service to harass, defraud or impersonate anyone.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that using Modd will get you an interview, an offer, or any particular salary. Salary ranges shown in reports are estimates only.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
